Bengaluru, Nov. 7 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday said that society is not built by law or regulation, but by the compassion that springs naturally from the nature of humanity.
Speaking at the silver jubilee celebratory function of Nele Foundation, he emphasised that as long as empathy and a sense of belonging remain alive in the human heart, society will continue to thrive.
"Society functions through compassion, not through law," Bhagwat asserted, explaining that the essence of humanity lies in sensitivity - something that arises not from rulebooks, but from inner consciousness and mutual affection.
