Florida, Aug. 6 -- Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan was laid to rest in a private funeral in Clearwater, Florida, 12 days after he died of a heart attack.
The family and friends of the late WWE superstar came together to celebrate his life on Tuesday, Aug. 5 after his death on July 24.
Hogan was 71, reports PEOPLE.
The service took place at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Clearwater, the city where Hulk, born Terry Gene Bollea, had been living with his wife Sky Daily.
Photos from the funeral showed men and women in black suits with orange boutonnieres carrying his casket into the funeral home.
