Visakhapatnam, Sept. 13 -- Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has been conferred with the "Shipbuilding Company of the Year" award at the Maritime Excellence Award ceremony held in Mumbai.
This recognition underscores HSL's unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and operational reforms in the maritime sector.
The award acknowledges HSL's innovative approach in constructing the first-of-its-class DP-II Diving Support Vessel for the Indian Navy, along with the successful implementation of reforms and achieving operational excellence in the DSV and other shipbuilding projects, which enabled the completion of several critical milestones on schedule.
