Kangra, Oct. 16 -- To ensure that Himachalis working outside the state can reach home in time for Diwali, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has launched special bus services from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Baddi.

HRTC Vice-Chairman Ajay Verma extended Diwali greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh and said that the corporation has taken the responsibility of transporting the passengers home "safely and timely" for the festival.

He informed that around 150 special buses will operate on October 17, 18, and 19, including 84 from Delhi, 55 from Chandigarh, and 10 from Baddi. Due to the festive rush, most regular routes are already fully booked online, and passengers are encouraged to avail themselves of these special bus services...
