Solan, Nov. 9 -- Aiming at achieving the target of making this tiny hill state a ' Green energy state, ' the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited claimed to have been making efforts in implementing the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Ghar Yojana to facilitate the consumers,The initiative will prove to be another major step towards establishing the hilly state of Himachal as a completely green energy state.
Board Consultant Anurag Parashar said that so far, 940 consumer applications have been received for installing rooftop plants in Hamirpur district under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
