Hamirpur, April 29 -- The Hamirpur Municipal Corporation has taken serious cognizance of the daily littering occurring in the city due to pamphlets, leaflets, and handouts being distributed in public places by various coaching centers, other educational institutions, and commercial establishments operating within the district headquarters and its surrounding areas.
In a statement on Wednesday, Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Sharma appealed to these coaching centers, educational institutions, and commercial establishments to refrain from distributing pamphlets, leaflets, and handouts in public areas and to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in maintaining the cleanliness of the city.
