Dharamsala, Dec. 5 -- In a rare show of unity, the ruling and opposition benches of Himachal Pradesh came together on Friday outside the Tapovan Assembly complex on the eighth and final day of the Winter Session to raise a collective voice against the growing drug menace in the state.
Outside Gate No. 1 of the Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, ministers and legislators from both parties stood together and raised slogans including "Chitta bhagana hai. Himachal ko bachana hai" (Drive out drugs, save Himachal).
