Shimla, June 2 -- A team of scientists from the Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI), Shimla, visited villages under Gram Panchayats Jalel and Thadi in Vikas Khand Tutu as part of the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan.
The visit aimed to promote awareness about scientific farming practices and connect local farmers with new technologies and government schemes.
The scientists held direct interactions with farmers, offering practical guidance on natural farming techniques, pest and disease management, and crop diversification. They also addressed farmers' crop-related concerns and provided customised technical support.
