Shimla, Oct. 28 -- The minimum temperature across Himachal Pradesh has begun to drop sharply as November approaches, signalling the onset of colder nights in the state. The capital city, Shimla, recorded a significant dip in its minimum temperature, falling from 11.0 degrees Celsius on Monday to 9.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature in the state during the next 48 hours. However, after this period, the minimum temperature is expected to gradually drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 3-4 days. The maximum temperature is also expected to gradually drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 4-5 days.
