Nahan, June 27 -- A tragic incident has shaken the industrial town of Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district, where a senior official ended his life, allegedly due to mounting financial pressure.
Amit Kumar (45), General Manager at Liberty Shoe Factory, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room yesterday. Preliminary investigation suggests that heavy debt may have pushed him to take the extreme step. The deceased hailed from Muzaffarpur in Uttar Pradesh and was residing at the factory's Satiwala unit.
