Nahan, Oct. 24 -- A 25-year-old man was found dead after allegedly hanging himself at his residence in Shanti Sangam, Nahan, the district headquarters of Sirmaur, on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar (25), son of Amar Singh, a resident of Dana village, Post Office Barag, Tehsil Sangrah in Sirmaur district.
According to police sources, Pawan Kumar, who worked for a contractor in Mandi district erecting electric poles, had returned to Nahan about five days ago. On Wednesday night, he came back from Renukaji and went to bed after dinner. His mother was the only one at home at the time.
