Hamirpur (HP), Oct. 16 -- While welcoming the decision of the HP high court regarding the temples under government control, the state VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) today demanded that their control should be taken back from the hands of government-owned trusts.

Notably, the HP High court in which it has categorically barred the State Government, Deputy Commissioners, and temple officers from diverting temple donations to the public exchequer or using them for general development works.
