Shimla, March 19 -- The Himachal Pradesh government would regulate the service conditions of Multi-Task Workers (MTWs) across various departments by formulating a comprehensive welfare policy.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated this in the State Assembly on Thursday while replying to a query raised by BJP MLA Satpal Singh Sati, who expressed concerns over the service conditions of MTWs.
Earlier, responding to the query, Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that the issue is already under consideration of the government and efforts were underway to formulate a comprehensive policy for the welfare of MTWs.
