Shimla, Sept. 20 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has announced its decision to introduce the CBSE curriculum in government senior secondary schools to raise academic standards and better prepare students for future challenges.

During the first phase, 100 Government Senior Secondary Schools will be affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from the next academic session.

According to an official spokesperson, this initiative will foster healthy competition between schools affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education and those under CBSE, motivating students and teachers alike to enhance performance.
