Shimla, March 12 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated in the Assembly that the government is taking steps to reduce the impact of the revenue field office staff strike in the state.
On the second day of the budget session on Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur raised concerns over the indefinite strike of patwaris and kanungos, stating that students are unable to obtain necessary certificates for school admissions.
In response, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu assured that the strike would not hinder the issuance of essential certificates. He stated that students could self-attest documents for school admissions, and a similar rule would apply for state government job applications.
