Shimla, Jan. 27 -- To improve its staggering industrial growth, Himachal Pradesh is targeting creating new investment destinations.

According to the Spokesperson of Industry Department, the state succeeded in attracting nearly Rs. 2,000 crores in new proposals during a meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) held here today, which gave nod to 27 new projects and expansions.

The proposals encompass everything from pharmaceutical and food processing units to cold storage facilities and auto component manufacturing.
