Palampur, Dec. 12 -- A meeting of the Block Task Force for the upcoming Pulse Polio Campaign was held on Friday under the chairmanship of SDM Palampur, Netra Mehti. The SDM said the campaign will be conducted in Gopalpur Medical Block from December 21 to 23.
The campaign aims to protect all children from 0 to 5 years from polio under the theme 'Do Boond Zindagi Ki'.
On December 21, polio drops will be administered at 81 booths set up across the block. To cover children who are unable to reach the booths, health teams will conduct a house-to-house drive on December 22 and 23 to ensure no eligible child is left out.
The SDM clarified that even unwell children should be given the polio drops to maintain complete protection.
