Shimla, Nov. 23 -- Himachal Pradesh recorded single-day highest deaths of 22 from COVID-19 while 454 more people were found infected in the past 24 hours, state health bulletin said on Monday night. Of the fresh deaths, maximum 12 were recorded in Shimla, followed by three each in Mandi and Kangra, two Bilaspur and one each in Solan and Kullu. In cases, 90 were registered in Solan, 88 in Kangra, 69 in Mandi, 60 in Kullu, 40 in Shimla, 17 in Bilaspur, 30 in Hamirpur, 33 in Una, 14 in Lahaul Spiti, seven in Sirmaur and six in Chamba. The total number of cases in the hill state have now reached 34,781. The active cases stand at 6,680, recovered 27,518 while 550 people have lost their lives. UNI ML PS2308
