Shimla, Oct. 24 -- The Himachal Pradesh police headquarters issued a circular on October 21 directing that rude or inappropriate behaviour is completely unacceptable in the Himachal Police. A zero-tolerance policy will be adopted against those who engage in such behaviour, it added.
"All IPS and HPS officers of Himachal Police must ensure respectful behaviour towards their junior colleagues under all circumstances," the circular read.
As per reports, some officers in the state police department are mistreating their junior staff and officers. Complaints received by the police headquarters have revealed that IPS and HPS officers are behaving rudely and inappropriately towards those older than them.
