Shimla, Jan. 7 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday reserved its order on a petition seeking timely conduct of panchayat elections in the state, after hearing extensive arguments from all stakeholders over the past two days.

The matter was heard by a division bench comprising Justice Vivek Thakur and Justice Romesh Verma. The bench heard submissions from the state government, the State Election Commission (SEC), the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), and the petitioner before reserving its verdict.
