Shimla, July 2 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday ordered the regularisation of 15 candidates who were initially appointed as daily wagers on compassionate grounds.
The Single Bench of Justice Sandeep Sharma allowed 15 Civil Writ Petitions raising a common question of law, and directed the State to treat all petitioners as regular employees.
The verdict, passed on June 23, was released today. It marks a significant relief for the petitioners, who had been awaiting regularisation despite long years of service rendered after being appointed on compassionate grounds following the death of a parent or spouse in government service.
