Shimla, March 11 -- A judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court has recused himself from hearing a petition seeking cancellation of bail granted to BJP MLA from Churah, Dr. Hans Raj, in the POCSO case pending against him.
Justice Rakesh Kainthla, in a brief one-page order issued on March 9 stated that he was related to the counsel appearing for the accused, and therefore could not hear the matter. Citing this reason, the judge withdrew from the case.
