Shimla, Feb. 19 -- Himachal Pradesh Govenrment indicated in the state assembly on Wednesday that it would move a review petition against the High Court's recent ruling restraining diversion of temple trust funds for civil works.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said in the state Assembly here that a Division Bench of the Himachal Pradesh HC has ruled that state could not divert the temple trust funds for civil work.
It barred the state government, Deputy Commissioners and temple officers from transferring temple funds to the public exchequer or utilising them for general development schemes.
