Shimla, Jan. 14 -- Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday lifted the embargo on general transfers and postings of Group-C and Group-D employees, excluding teaching cadres of the Education and Technical Education Departments.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, the decision will remain effective till March 31, 2026.
During this period, Ministers-in-charge have been authorised to approve transfers of regular Group-C and Group-D officials who have completed the normal tenure at their present place of posting.
The orders, issued by the Chief Secretary, states that all transfers must be made strictly in accordance with the "Comprehensive Guiding Principles-2013", as amended from time to time.
