Shimla, Oct. 3 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today visited Manali to assess the extensive damage caused by heavy monsoon rains and floods.
The Governor inspected the severely damaged stretch of the National Highway between Kullu and Manali, expressing concern over the large-scale destruction at multiple locations. He also visited Solang village to interact with local residents and hear their grievances.
Shri Shukla stressed that the floods caused immense devastation, with roads and adjoining areas suffering extensive damage. He noted that at many places, the road was damaged on both sides.
