Shimla/Nahan/Kullu, July 9 -- Bomb threats emailed to district courts in Shimla, Kullu, and Nahan on Wednesday morning triggered immediate evacuations and large-scale search operations. However, after thorough investigations by bomb disposal and dog squads, the threats were declared a hoax.
In Nahan, panic spread when sessions judge Yogesh Jaiswal received a threatening mail around 10 am while accessing his system for court work. Acting swiftly, the judge ordered evacuation of the court premises and informed police and army authorities. Dog squads and bomb experts searched the complex, but no suspicious object was found.
In Shimla and Kullu, similar emails were received by the respective district and sessions courts. As a precautionary me...
