Shimla, Sept. 3 -- The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly was on Tuesday adjourned sine die after completing its 12-day monsoon session, which began on August 18 and concluded on September 2.
Before adjourning the House, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced that the ninth session of the fourteenth Legislative Assembly had been successfully completed.
He informed that a total of 12 sittings were held, lasting about 59 hours, and the productivity of the session stood at 98 percent. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing the House, suggested that future monsoon sessions be scheduled in September instead of August.
