Shimla, Feb. 11 -- A 29-year-old youth, reported missing for the past three to four days, was found dead on Tuesday after allegedly committing suicide by hanging from a rhododendron tree in a secluded forest area at Sangti under the jurisdiction of Boileauganj police station.
Police said Shobhit Thakur, son of Dev Raj Thakur and a resident of Shakuntala Niwas near Najad Raj Guest House, Sangti, was reported missing on February 9.
During a search on February 10, his body was found hanging from a tree with a noose made of a white dhoti-like cloth.
