Mandi, April 13 -- A Volvo bus carrying approximately 35 to 40 passengers met with an accident near Bindrabani, close to a local dumping site in Mandi district, early Sunday.
According to a press note issued by the Mandi Police, the bus was en route from Chandigarh to Kullu when the driver reportedly lost control near the 4 Miles area of Bindrabani.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 AM, sending emergency responders rushing to the scene. Preliminary reports said that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which led to overturning in the middle of the road, triggering panic among the passengers. The bus was travelling at a high speed when the accident occurred, although the exact cause is yet to be confirmed.
