Kangra, Oct. 25 -- Ayush, Youth Services and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma and Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman R.S. Bali today affirmed that the teachings of Maharishi Valmiki remain highly relevant in the present context.
The dignitaries were speaking at the Valmiki Utsav, organised by the Kangra Valmiki Sabha on Friday night to mark the birth anniversary of the sage. HRTC Vice-Chairman Ajay Verma was the special guest at the event.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guests hailed Maharishi Valmiki as one of India's greatest sages. They emphasised that every individual should follow his ideals to lead a meaningful and virtuous life.
