Hamirpur (HP), July 31 -- A team of the Hamirpur police nabbed four drug peddlers from the forests of Mansoohi near Bhota and recovered 160.37 grams of charas from their custody, the police said Saturday.
Those arrested were Lakpa Lama, Dalip Singh, Pune Singh and Diwanu all from the Kullu district of the state.
SP, Hamirpur, Gukulchandran Karthikeyan said that during a random checking, the team smelled smoke from inside a vehicle and checked that.
During the course of checking, four youngsters were found sitting inside and charas was recovered from them.
A case under sections 20-25-61085 of NDPS act had been registered against them and further investigations were on.
