Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), Feb. 1 -- Former BJP Lok Sabha member from Kangra Kishan Kapoor passed away after a prolonged illness at PGI Chandigarh on Saturday.
He was 73. The death of the former Minister left an indelible mark on the political lanscape of the state and the country.
A seasoned politician, Kishen Kapoor had served as the Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs in the Himachal Pradesh Government. He was a three-term Cabinet minister and a five-term Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Dharamshala constituency.
