Una/Mandi, Dec. 29 -- An FIR has been registered at Una against former senior officials of the Kangra Central Co-operative Bank Ltd.(KCCB) following allegations of removal, destruction and tampering of crucial loan documents related to two large hotel projects of Mandi-based businessman Yudh Chand (YC) Bains.
The case centres on the alleged disappearance of valuation and internal office noting pages from the bank's recovery files, which were key to determining the reserve price of a mortgaged hotel property in Manali.
According to the complaint, Bains had secured loans aggregating around Rs. 20 crore for two hospitality units-Hotel Lake Palace at Mandi and Hotel Himalayan Snow Village at Manali-during the previous Congress government led ...
