Shimla, Jan. 15 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party has flagged alleged lapses by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in the execution of the four-lane highway project in Shimla's Chaunthi area, citing serious risks to life and property, disruption of traffic and growing hardship for local residents.
The party has sought immediate intervention by the Central Government to address the situation.
