Una, Jan. 8 -- The Himachal Pradesh government is taking decisive steps toward promoting e-mobility by adding 297 electric buses to the fleet of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said the first prototype electric bus has arrived in Solan from Hyderabad. Trial runs of the e-bus will be conducted on the Solan-Shimla route over the next two days.
Following this, trials will be carried out in a phased manner on other routes and at various HRTC depots across the state.
