Amaravati, March 15 -- Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh from March 17 to 19 and in Rayalaseema during the next three days.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.

The highest maximum temperature of 41.2 degrees celsius was recorded at Kurnool in Rayalaseema on Friday, the report added. UNI VV CS
