Chennai, Sept. 11 -- Hosur, which has emerged as the key industrial hub with variousIndian and foreign companies setting up their facilities, will get a new International airportsoon.
This was announced by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at the TN Rising Investment Conclaveat Hosur in which 92 MoUs attracting Rs.24,307 crore investments and creating jobs for49,353 persons were signed in his presence after which he launched various completedprojects and laid foundation stones for new ones.
Speaking at the conclave, Mr Stalin said the airport will come up in 2,000 acres of land andwill have the capacity to handle 30 million passengers every year.
