Mumbai, Oct. 31 -- An old video has surfaced featuring former Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar praising a cleanliness initiative associated with Rohit Arya, the man involved in the recent Powai hostage incident.

The footage, originally shared by Arya on his Instagram account, shows Kesarkar commending the 'Cleanliness Monitor' programme, which Arya had organised in collaboration with the Education Department.

In the video, Kesarkar explains that the initiative targeted students from Classes 5 to 8, encouraging them to develop good cleanliness habits and promote proper waste disposal. He remarks that when children point out littering, adults become more conscious of their actions.
