Belagavi, Dec. 8 -- Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti on Monday firmly denied allegations of corruption and bias in appointments, asserting that only one Congress member had levelled such accusations while leaders across parties were satisfied with his functioning.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the Winter Session here, Horatti dismissed Congress MLC Nagaraj Yadav's allegations, stating he had no information on any proposed no-confidence motion. "We have to go by the government's decision. I am unbiased. Except for one member, no one has spoken lightly about me. Members of all parties are happy with my conduct," he said.
