Shillong, July 18 -- A lower court in Meghalaya has granted bail to Silome James, a co-accused in the murder of an Indore-based businessman, Raja Raghuvanshi.
The bail was granted with a bail bond of Rs. 50,000 with two sureties by the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class (JMFC), Don Kitbor Koshy Mihsill, James' legal counsel Devesh Sharma said on Friday.
James was produced before the court of JMFC via video-conferencing from the Shillong District Jail on Wednesday, but the court had reserved its order on the bail plea.
