Shillong, July 2 -- Three accused in the murder of an Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi on Wednesday were produced in a local court here and remanded to judicial custody after the expiry of a six days police custody.
Lokendra Tomar, Silome James and Balla Ahirwar, were produced before the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, East Khasi Hills district, Don Kitbor Koshy Mihsil.
"The investigating officer (IO) has prayed for 14 days judicial custody. After hearing at length, the court has remanded Shilom James to 14 days judicial custody and other two accused persons - Tomar and Ahirwar for seven days judicial custody," Tushar Chanda, the Assistant Public Prosecutor told reporters.
