Shillong, July 16 -- A lower court in Meghalaya today reserved its order on the bail plea of Silome James, a co-accused in the murder of an Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi.



James was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class (JMFC) Don Kitbor Koshy Mihsill via video-conferencing from the Shillong District Jail.



Assistant Public Prosecutor Tushar Chanda had "strongly opposed" the bail petition on lawful grounds.



However, Advocate Devesh Sharma from Indore, who appeared in favour of James, was hopeful of securing bail for his client as the trial was yet to begin.
