Chandigarh, Aug. 11 -- Punjabi singers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Karan Aujla have apologized to the Punjab Women's Commission for using objectionable language in their songs, following a notice from the commission.

Chairperson Raj Lali Gill announced that both singers, currently abroad, phoned the commission, promising to visit the office in person to apologize upon their return to India. They've requested a seven-day extension to comply.

Gill revealed that both singers, currently abroad, contacted the commission via phone, assuring them they would personally visit the office to apologize upon their return to India. They have sought an additional seven days to comply.
