Tegucigalpa, Oct. 14 -- Honduras scored three first-half goals to cruise to a 3-0 home win over Haiti in their World Cup qualifier.
Rigoberto Rivas and Anthony Lozano struck inside the first half hour before Romell Quioto addeda third goal on the stroke of halftime on Monday.
The result leaves Honduras two points clear at the top of Group C in the final round of CONCACAF qualifiers.
The top team from each of the three groups will automatically qualify for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The two best-ranked runners-up will advance to the inter-confederation playoffs.
