Tegucigalpa, Oct. 14 -- Honduras maintained their strong start in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers with a commanding 3-0 win over Haiti at home on Monday.
Rigoberto Rivas and Anthony Lozano struck inside the first half hour before Romell Quioto added a third goal on the stroke of halftime.
The result lifted Honduras two points clear at the top of Group C in the final round of CONCACAF qualifiers.
The top team from each of the three groups will automatically qualify for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada, while the two best-ranked runners-up will advance to the inter-confederation playoffs.
