Los Angeles, May 18 -- Hollywood superstar Nicolas Cage says that he is a fan of the Australia-based metalcore band 'Nicolas Cage Fighter', giving the Aussies his blessing for using his namesake.
Speaking to The Guardian about musical events such as the Cage-a-Rama (mix of 'The Rock' star's name and the series 'Futurama'), and Cage Against The Machine (the actor's name merged with rap-funk metal band Rage Against The Machine) using his moniker, he said "I am not familiar with that musical institution. I am familiar with a hard rock band out of Australia called Nicolas Cage Fighter, and I think they're terrific. Their songs are empowering."
