Hollywood, Aug. 18 -- Ronnie Rondell Jr., the veteran stuntman immortalised on the cover of Pink Floyd's seminal 1975 album "Wish You Were Here", has died at the age of 88.
Rondell passed away on August 12 at a care facility in Missouri, his family announced, according to BBC.
Born in Los Angeles in 1937, Rondell began his career in film as a child extra before gravitating towards the high-risk, high-discipline profession of stunt performance. His first professional assignment came with the television adventure series "Soldiers of Fortune", inaugurating a career that would stretch across half a century.
