Itanagar, Aug. 19 -- Union Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday
announced the date of completion of Hollongi Airport by March 31, 2022.
Mr Puri made the announcement while reviewing the status of Civil Aviation in
Arunachal Pradesh through a video conference with Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar
today.
The Union Minister further assured to assist the frontier State in the development
of aviation sector, an official statement said here.
In the meeting, Mr Puri further informed that the much awaited RCS (regional
connectivity scheme) from Tezu-Guwahati and Tezu-Jorhat will also start operating
within this year as the license has already been obtained from the Airport Authority
of India (AAI) for operation of Tezu Ai...
