New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday asserted that preventing infiltration into the country is very important, not only from the security point of view, but for protecting democracy, and added that no infiltrator has the right to influence the democratic system.

Shah was speaking at Border Security Force's diamond jubilee celebrations in Bhuj, Gujarat, and made it clear that only Indian citizens will decide who the Chief Minister of any state becomes, or who becomes the Prime Minister of the nation.
