Jammu, March 12 -- Former chief minister and National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that the union Home Minister Amit Shah called him and enquired about his wellbeing in the aftermath of the firing incident assuring investigation into the matter.
"HM Amit Shah called and enquired about me. He said that the accused has been arrested and assured proper investigation into the matter," Dr Abdullah told reporters here at a press conference.
Dr Abdullah said that he has no links with the attacker and does not even know him.
"I don't know who he is and never met him in my life. I saw his picture for the first time on social media after the attack," he said.
